Google Hates the Goobers!

I found out why the recent videos have not been uploading to google. Because of their content. Apparently the way that I was poking fun at the political ads, television apperances, and local gatherings, was inappropriate, and a user or two complained, so they removed the three videos I had posted. Wish I had a webserver with enough space to store them so that they can still be posted. What a bummer. :/ I can't make a case for texas education in politcal commentary and be humerous, but John can change Rick Perry's ad to have the A-Team theme song and be ok. How about that for democracy? XD Just kidding John. I loved that you did that with Perry's ad. ^^

And there 'should' be another video up, but GoogleVideo is being slow and doesn't want to upload my content and give me a link fast enough. Ah well.

We're still in need of another topic to pick up on now that the elections are done with. Technical issues and all, it wasn't bad. Though, I think it's good for all canidates to know that to at least ATTEMPT to visit the state when you're running, no matter what office you're trying to grab. Not just for studnets like us, but almost all of the events for this election were out of reach. It's good to inform the students. They need to vote too!!! XD

Interesting fact. They conducted this poll two years ago during the presidential election, and the results between the canidates were close, but Bush barely won.

gooberTV is now up and running, except we are still trying to get our real domain up and running. it has been bought, we just haven't pointed it to anything yet.

gooberTV is an ongoing project of three students: betsy, valerie, and john. we are in the emerging media program at the university of texas at dallas. our gooberTV project is tackling the gubernatorial campaign in texas.

check back often for our witty and unbiased (or completely biased, depending how you look at it) reporting.
